BIANCO PROPERTIES EXPANDS CHICAGO PORTFOLIO

Chicago (August 1, 2018) – St. Louis-based Bianco Properties announced it has acquired St. James Crossing Shopping Center in Westmont, Illinois.  The 49,994 square foot shopping center is located at the intersection of Ogden Road and Route 83.  This marks Bianco’s sixth acquisition in the Chicago MSA.

                                                        

“The acquisition of St James Crossing adds another strong property to our suburban Chicago portfolio.  With proximity to four major highways, the center is ideally located to serve the residents and businesses throughout Westmont and neighboring villages of Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills and Downers Grove,” explained Josh Bacott, Vice President – Acquisitions of Bianco Properties.

Bianco’s Chicago portfolio includes two retail properties in the West Loop and prominent retail shopping centers in the densely populated markets of Downers Grove, Harwood Heights, and Morton Grove.  Its primary focus is retail and industrial investment opportunities with an objective to continue expanding its presence in Chicago and other key markets.


Chicago (February 9, 2018) – St. Louis-based Bianco Properties announced it has acquired Main Street Square Shopping Center in Downers Grove, Illinois.  The 56,000 square foot shopping center is located at the intersection of Butterfield Road and Finley Road, adjacent to Interstate 355.  This marks Bianco’s fifth acquisition in the Chicago MSA.

Chicago (April 13, 2017) St. Louis-based Bianco Properties announced today it has acquired 4600 Plaza Shopping Center in Harwood Heights, Illinois. The shopping center is situated in the heart of the retail corridor along Harlem Avenue, one mile south of the I-90 interchange. This marks Bianco’s fourth acquisition in the Chicago region.

“The acquisition of 4600 Plaza is a solid addition to our company’s portfolio. We are long-term owners and 4600 Plaza is an ideally located center approximately five miles east of O’Hare International Airport on the major north-south thoroughfare that spans from W. Irving Park Rd to I-90” explained Josh Bacott, the Acquisitions Specialist for Bianco Properties. Over the past few years, Bianco has purchased two properties in the West Loop and a shopping center located in the dense residential base of Morton Grove. Its primary focus is retail and industrial investment opportunities with an objective to continue expanding its presence in Chicago.
